Who and What is LB.Resin?
​
I am the human behind LB.Resin and this new venture is what I deem as my Pandemic Baby. During lock-down I spent hours scrolling online and came across something called Resin Art. It wasn’t something I had heard of before and the truth is I became obsessed with it!! I would literally spend my nights scrolling through social media watching videos and educating myself on how to work with Resin. It eventually got to the stage where I thought “I wonder if I could do this?” so I tried……and well here I am now!!!

I must admit it wasn’t all plain sailing and at times I wanted to give up. There were most definitely some epic fails, but like everything in life we learn from our mistakes and plus with what was going on the in world I had plenty of time to practice.

Flower Preservation
After about 6 months of getting used to how to pour with colours to create home decor a friend of mine shared some resin art that used real life flowers. My mind was blown!! And I will be honest it was a lot harder than I first thought.
​
The main reason I wanted to get involved in Flower Preservation is simply because I fell in love with the idea of being able to turn someone’s special flowers into a keepsake. I love being able to preserve wedding flowers for newly weds to keep as a memento of their special day but the one that pulls at the heart strings is being able to provide families after a loss of a loved one with something that they can hold onto.

Pretty much like with the flower preservation I wanted to keep pushing myself and be able to not only preserve memories in the form of flowers but also with the ashes of a loved one lost.
